We offer classes’ run by appropriately trained teachers both for beginners and advanced students.
All teaching will be undertaken in small groups in a classroom setting
At the beginning of enrollment /entry into the course / students will be
assessed
by teachers to assign them to appropriate classes.
Bilingual English Teachers will be selected wherever possible to match the
mother tongue of the student. For instance, teachers who understand Punjabi
to
facilitate learning will teach a Punjabi student.
Students will be assessed periodically to identify progress and
other
problematic issues so that they could be addressed
promptly.
Teachers to evaluate their level of achievement of comprehensive spoken English at the end of course assessment.
Certification of attendance and performance will be offered.

Numeracy is a skill for life, learning and work.Numeracy is not only a subset of mathematics. It is also a life skill which permeates and supports all areas of learning, allowing people to be more confident in social settings and enhances enjoyment in a large number of leisure and work related activities.
The numeracy experiences will be taught in small groups in a class room settings by using structured criteria such as
Teachers will plan to establish and consolidate Learner’s fundamental numeracy skills using imaginative, interactive approaches, using tools such as flash cards, Vocabulary Worksheet, Number Idioms, time board games. In addition, learning resources designed to bullet skills and confidence with numbers by various platforms such as Oxford Owl, How to do Maths. National Numeracy challenge will also be used to improve understanding of how numbers work at their fingertips, addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, cardinal numbers, ordinal numbers.
This will be done periodically to assess their skills in using number to solve problems, in analysing information and in making informed decisions.

Young adults and older men of all ethnicity especially women can all apply regardless from financial background.
Educational background and previous school experience is not required All candidates who hail from poor families, and are between the ages of 25- 50 years, are eligible for the training programs. For women and other vulnerable groups like persons with disabilities can also enrol.
These courses are free of charge.

Yes, every candidate who completes the course and clears the evaluation exam will receive a government-recognised certificate of training.

Although there is no guarantee but acquisition of employable skills and self confidence with certificates of completion are likely to facilitate job interviews and employment In case the candidate wishes to start his/ her own business in the same sector, assistance and guidance is provided.

Getting skill trained will enable you to start earning, become eligible for better jobs, build a career and improve your current lifestyle.
We use turning pages which is a phonic-based reading programme used as a tool to teach how to read and write. This is an evidence-based reading manual provided by the Shannon Trust. The Turning Pages programme includes 45 graded reading books, written especially for adults.
Trained reading coaches will tailor sessions and tasks to readers personal interests/cultural needs, making what they learn are both useful and engaging to them.
A Reader and their coach can meet either in a small group or as “one to one”in a classroom setting.
The programme takes people systematically through the learning process step by step, at their own pace which steadily builds their confidence.
As people discover that they can read, their self-esteem grows, and they experience a real sense of achievement about the many opportunities that are now likely to open for the first time.
On completion, learners will have acquired the skills they need to move on to further reading and learning.
